How to Use

1. Strip the Chain: Brand new or previously oiled chains must be completely stripped of all factory lubricants and grime. Thoroughly submerge and clean the chain using a specialised degreaser (CyclOn Pro Chain Stripper is highly recommended). Ensure all residue is entirely removed, then dry the chain completely.

2. Melt and Submerge: Melt the solid wax by heating it to 75°C–85°C using a dedicated wax heater, a saucepan, or by immersing the container safely in boiling water. Once the wax is completely liquified, submerge the clean chain entirely. Allow the chain to sit in the molten wax for 15 minutes so it can fully penetrate internal rollers and pins.

3. Hang and Cure: Carefully remove the chain from the hot liquid and hang it up to let it cool and cure completely.

4. Install and Break In: Once completely cooled and hardened, manipulate the links to break the initial stiffness, then install the chain onto your bicycle. After roughly 10 minutes of initial riding, the wax will fully break in, rewarding you with an ultra-quiet, high-efficiency, and completely spotless drivetrain. (Note: Top-offs can be maintained between deep treatments using CyclOn Pro Chain Wax or Liquid Wax Lube).
